My Favorite Film

Hi everyone!!!

In this post im writing about my favorite film, its an anime film: The Wind Rises!!! A film that tells the story of Jiro Horikoshi's life, which began his magic with his interest in airplanes, born in World War II Japan. In short, although this is the topic, I must say that all the background sounds of the dream scenes in the movie were made by people, it's amazing, isn't it?!!

It contains small spoilers after this episode!! Although Jiro wanted to be a pilot when he was young, he is extremely myopia. One day, when the aircraft designer Count Giovanni Caproni, whom he saw in a magazine, falls into his dream, he decides to devote his life to designing airplanes.

While he following this dream, he meets a girl.. You know, it's a life story after all. I won't tell you the rest. Go and definitely watch this movie; its animations, music, characters and plot -everything - was awesome. The film is directed by Hayao Miyazaki. I also mentioned this name in my previous blogs, maybe you remember. Miyazaki has a lot of movies, and I can say that what I watched was all very good. This is the last film Miyazaki made before retiring.

My favorite character was Jiro. By the way, Jiro was a real-life pilot. Also Count Caproni was too . In the film, Jiro's life is told through fiction. His wife's story is not real. So in reality, things are a little darker. Although Jiro and Caproni were great dreamers in the movie, the planes they made were fighter and bomber planes.  Sometimes wonderful dreamers can also create nightmares. As Caproni himself said in the film: Airplanes are beautiful, cursed dreams, waiting for the sky to swallow them up.
